Classic Confections is the gourmet confection division of the parent company Dessert Innovations. Founded in 1986 to make fine confections, truffles and chocolate shells, we have merged with Dessert Innovations to become a unique dessert provider with diverse manufacturing capabilities.
Dessert Innovations is a manufacturer capable of baking, slicing and decorating anything from cakes, pies, and muffins to ice cream desserts. When paired with Classic Confections the end result is a variety of products enrobed in a coating of fondant or chocolate. We produce products for our own label and co-pack for other large companies in a Kosher approved plant.
Our products have been in the finest hotels, country clubs, served in first class airlines, banquets, grocery stores, and food clubs and are now available in retail applications such as gift shops etc.
Our managing partner, Rolf Schittli, has extensive experience in our industry. Rolf was trained in Switzerland in fine baking, candy confection and pastry production. He has served as Executive Pastry Chef on the Cunard Cruise Line and several four star hotels, including the Ritz-Carlton. His skills as a food scientist and Confectioner enable us to make the finest classic truffles as well as innovative dessert products.
